In the Spring of 2021, we commissioned a single-line melody from Jenni Watson, one of our favorite composers and human beings. She sent us her finished melody, "into the air", and encouraged us to make it our own.

This EP has three versions of Jenni's melody. Track 1 is true to the original melody and the other tracks are our own arrangements, which are based heavily on the original.

"into the air" was recorded and arranged during a single recording session somewhere in Appalachia.
